The game masters over at DELETED: the Game were kind enough to give me a heads up about their having broken 1 million views. However you measure it, this is an exciting milestone for the folks over at GEN 247 and a strong statement for independent film producers in an online video marketplace increasingly being challenged by professional production houses.

Here’s their mail from October 8:

Whew! What a month … just here to update that we did a million views yesterday … and to invite you to join us this Fri for a very special Ep 9 (October 10) where it looks like some players are well on their way to helping our characters uncover the true nature of the identity theft conspiracy.

If you’ve not seen the 9th episode yet, go now and see it now. I was pretty excited by it. Now it’s completely clear that this show, a truly groundbreaking interactive video series, is not content to evolve a story around a few mysteries, like some cheap thriller. No, no. my friends, we’re deciding the future of the presidential election of the United States of America.

Hats off to DELTED: the Game; the show just keeps getting more and more interesting. Now if only Daisy Whitney would take notice Come on, Daisey, these guys and gals are doing good stuff over here!
