After eight glorious sunny and web-free days in Portugal I’m back at it. The first thing that I did upon returning home was log on and start scouting for video updates from all my favorite Youtube producers and it struck me that, although absence does make the heart grow fonder, familiarity breeds contempt – especially in the online video crowd.

So, although I voraciously devoured the new videos from all those Youtube celebrities I love, I found myself getting irked by each of them in turn.

...and in the spirit of being irked by those you like and admire, here’s my list of top things that bother me about my favorite Youtubers:

• Charles Trippy: is it just me, or does it feel like he’s just going through the motions? One good video released in one month! What the hell Chuck?
• Venetian Princess: this lady is soooo talented, but does she really have to do everything herself..and does everything have to be a musical?
• SXEPhil: You either love him or hate him, there’s very little in between. I love his show, but his insecurity is really starting to get irritating. He gets pissed-off at fans who want to know what’s going on when he doesn’t put out a video. He gets pissed off at fans who disagree with him, telling them that their unsubscriptions don’t matter because he’s getting so  many more every day, and on and on. Classic case of an insecure guy who has thrust himself into the limelight and cant deal with the pressure gracefully or professionally. Come on Phil, you’re better than that.
• Michael Buckley: Perhaps one of the most talented dudes on Youtube, but sometimes Buck comes across as a characterure of a gay man. No one can be THAT much of a stereotype can they?
• Lisa Nova: get over the political satire. Its not new. It’s not that amusing anymore. SNL has the market cornered. Move on Lisa, please!
• Clip Critics: I love these guys; they’re my absolute favorite show on Youtube…but does everything have to be about sex? Come on Cpt Chuck (aka Chad) arent you getting any?
